The Healing Martial Arts™ (HMA) curriculum is inquiry driven and it integrates principles and practices of traditional Tae Kwon Do, healing Qigong, Positive Coaching, and transformation-based frameworks. The HMA curriculum is based on implicit assumptions of interconnectedness and wholeness, and it gives you a complete workout: physical, mental, spiritual, creative, social, and emotional.

Pandas
The Pandas program for three-year-olds encourages discovery, exploration, and growth. While providing a gentle and playful introduction to the concepts of Healing Martial Arts™, the curriculum blends fitness with energy practice, to encourage motor skill development, and nurture balance, strength, and coordination. A foundation of play and improvisation infused with martial arts principles makes these classes enjoyable and fun. This is a child only class, and parents are encouraged to watch (and sometimes participate).
Each Pandas session is six weeks long, with one, 30 minute class per week. Early registration is strongly recommended as the class fills up quickly. Participants are required to wear white “karate” pants and white Hiruko T-Shirt to class (provided at the first class). To “try out” a class, you may drop in and watch one time, provided there is space in the session and you call 24 hours in advance to let us know you are coming. There are no refunds after the first class of the session.

KinderDojo™
The KinderDojo™ program for 4 to 7 year-olds promotes health, fitness, and harmony. It is a gentle introduction into the world of healing and martial arts that is age appropriate and fun. The program stretches children’s physical, emotional, and mental boundaries while allowing them to be free, playful, and expressive. The teaching focuses on the child's concentration, focus, and sense of self, as well as motor and communication skills.
Classes are 45 minutes long, and participation two times per week is highly encouraged. There are five to six available group classes during the week, and since we operate an open schedule, you can pick and choose which days work for your calendar, without having to confirm or secure your spot in the class each week. The minimum training duration is six months.

Juniors
The HMA program for Juniors is a journey of self discovery that starts with movement and self-expression through martial arts. Along with building a solid foundation in Tae Kwon Do, the program provides a framework for cultivating self-awareness, mindfulness, and vitality in a dynamic and powerful way. While safety and self-defense are taught, the program emphasizes the self-expressive aspects rather than the combative side of martial arts. Taught by experienced athletes the program is appropriate for all ages, and it provides the opportunity for an excellent cardio vascular and strength training program, while incorporating stretching and relaxation.
